A Guardian is a person chosen by a member of the Guardian Network, usually a family member, friend or professional. The Guardian's responsibilities are to ensure that after the Member passes away or becomes incapacitated they are to ensure that the member's assets are found by notifying theirs heirs what exists and where it is located. Once a member choses their Guardians (we recommend at least 3 Guardians), then each Guardian:

  • Will be notified by Guardian Network that they were chosen via Email or post, where the Guardian has the option to Accept or Decline becoming said Member's Guardian.
  • Once the Guardian accepts, the Guardian will be sent their user name and login so they may update their contact information. This is IMPORTANT when the time comes and the Member passes away, Guardian Network needs to be able to contact the Guardian and if your contact information is not accurate we won't be able to locate you.
  • Guardian Network will also send the Guardian a Guardian ID card with instructions on what to do if the member passes away or becomes incapacitated.
  • The Guardian must update their profile as necessary to ensure that we have their current contact information (Email, Phone and Address). Again this is IMPORTANT when the time comes and the Member passes away, Guardian Network needs to be able to contact the Guardian and if your contact information is not accurate we won't be able to locate you.
  • The Guardian is also asked to select a "Secret" word and enter it in their Profile form when they update their profile. This word will be requested if they ever contact Guardian Network to notify us that the Member has passed away or become incapacitated.
  • Upon death of the Member, the Guardian is to send to Guardian Network via mail at the address listed below an original copy of the Members Death Certificate (or Incapacitation), their (Guardian's) photo ID, and "secret" word.
  • Upon verification that this information is true and correct, we will provide the Guardian(s) the login and password for the Member so the Guardian is able to access the Member's account.

IMPORTANT: When the time comes, even though the Guardian can access the Member's account and see all of their assets, the Guardian can NOT go and take those assets. They must follow the terms of the Will, Trust or wishes of the Member. The member is not leaving or giving permission to the Guardian to take their assets and/or valuables, nor can the Guardian just take anything from the Member. The assets and valuable accounts are still in the Member's name and belong to the Member. The Guardian must follow the legal system and follow the procedures as outlined in the Member's Will or Member's instructions. The Guardian's sole responsibility is to provide the proper heirs a list of the Member's assets and where they are located, also to fulfill any wishes and/or send any messages the Member has requested (as requested in the Member's account)

Also, the Member is recommended to select at least three (3) GUARDIANS, which can be their mother, brother, best friend, etc.). You may not be the only Guardian. Once you gain access you should contact the other Guardians and work together within them to fullfill the Member's requests, so you don't duplicate anything.

Guardian Network was set up because we experienced what it was like not to be able to find the assets of a departed loved one – when we knew that something had been left to us. It was awful knowing that our legacy remained unclaimed somewhere because we couldn't find it – that's how Guardian was born. Our Mission is to stop this from happening to you. No one should have to go through the pain of trying to locate the assets and papers of a departed loved one – to end up not finding them and to know that the State will later claim them and then the state will get a richer at your expense.

At Guardian Network our mission is to ensure that the daily growing mountain of unclaimed assets around the world does not claim your assets too and there are $400 Billion unclaimed in the United States alone and this figure is growing daily. Our simple system allows you to list everything you own, privately, safely and securely so that it can be found when needed. You never have to place with us any confidential information or actual account numbers, just the location address where the item can be found. This means that your assets always remain completely safe.

We are here solely to make sure that your assets are Never Unclaimed – to ensure that a Family's assets stay with the Family – right where they belong.

Every country in the world has a huge fund of unclaimed assets. This problem is not exclusive to the USA. No matter what country you are in, if you can speak/type in English to use our system, then we can help you. We have made sure that wherever you are in the world we are there for you – waiting to be of service, to record your assets and safeguard your family's future.

Also, WE DO NOT ASK FOR DOLLAR AMOUNTS. WE ONLY NEED TO KNOW THAT THE ASSETS EXIST AND WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED. ie. A checking and savings account at ABC Bank, 123 N. Federal Highway, Anywhere, Any State. This is all the information you need to provide their heirs.

IMPORTANT:

  • Upon death or incapacition, and with the proper proof, the GUARDIANS will gain access to the Member's account, they CAN NOT run to the bank and take the Member's money (just because they know where you bank). They have to follow the terms of your WILL and/or TRUST. The sole purpose of the GUARDIAN NETWORK is to PROVIDE WHAT THE MEMBER'S HAVE AND WHERE IT IS LOCATED to their GUARDIANS, so they can let the Member's children (heirs, family members, etc. or whomever they requested know what exists and where it is located. Then the heirs still have to follow the normal procedures of the State and/or Country Laws to retrieve the Member's assets.
  • Government agencies are holding over $400 Billion in unclaimed property and lost money. An asset becomes abandoned in the eyes of the law when the original owner is lost - typically after a name or address change - or when the rightful heir fails to communicate an interest in it over a number of years, known as the dormancy period. Those left holding unclaimed assets - banks, stock brokers, life insurance companies, and government agencies themselves - remit them to the protective custody of a government trust account in a legal process referred to as escheat. Here they await your claim! As seen on http://www.unclaimed.com
